It is so hard to believe that a year ago today we were spending a wonderful day touring the beautiful city of St Petersburg, Russia.
St Petersburg is located on the Gulf of Finland at the mouth of the Neva river. It is composed of a series of islands. We stayed on Vasilyevsky Island. There were many large ships along the river.
