USCIS Approved!!

We got an e-mail from our USCIS (United States Citizen and Immigration Service) that our Advanced Petition for Sam's immigration has been approved. One more hurdle in this adoption has been jumped. Praise the Lord! We are still waiting for news of our travel dates for our first trip. I will post here as soon as we find out. We can hardly wait to meet our little man.

10/2/2011 Arrived in Sam's country for our court trip.

10/6/2011 We are named parents of "Sam" now Alexander Savely Mounts by an EE judge.

10/7/2011 Head home to wait out the 10 day waiting period.

10/17/2011 Head back to St Petersburg, Russia

10/20/2011 Gotcha Day!!

10/21/2011 Applied for his Passport, takes 5 business days.

10/28/ 2011 Got Alex's Russian Passport.

10/30/2011 Take train to Moscow.
