Our Dossier (large pile of official papers) was submitted to Sam's country 4 weeks ago. Today, we received word that it has been officially "Registered" and we will hopefully get our travel dates for our first trip sometime this week. We can hardly wait to meet this little guy. Our first trip will be meeting him and accepting his referral. Then we will come home and wait for our day in court. This process takes time and we are learning a lot of patience, but we know that he will be so worth it in the end.
We had a great time last weekend attending a minor league baseball game with the local Down syndrome association. We met some great/cute kids and have been so welcomed by the families. We daily stand in awe of the path the God has placed us on and the wonderful people we are meeting along that path.
