Update: They did not get a yes or no answer. The judge will make her decision within the next week. Please continue to pray.
There is a particular region in an Easter European country from where no child with Down syndrome has ever been adopted. There is no value placed on these children and they do not understand why anyone would want to adopt them.
Two families have been waiting over a year to adopt their children and a third family has waited almost a year just to meet their child. The first two families have actually traveled and met their children, but have been unable to get a court date, due to a moratorium on all adoptions in this region. The judge has lifted the moratorium, but has not yet issued court dates for the first two families.
Please lift these families up in prayer tonight. At about 2:00 a.m. CST the facilitator for these families will be meeting with the judge to plead their case for a court date. Please pray for favor with this judge and pray for these families for His Perfect Peace in all of this.
