Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. James 1:27 (NIV)

One Year Ago Today

One year ago today, I took this long walk.

I carried that sweet little boy out of the orphanage for the last time.

It has been an amazing year.  Our love for this little boy has grown.

God sets the lonely in families... Psalm 68:6

He has grown!

Only 24.5 lbs and 35 inches at 5 years and 10 months old.

Now 38.5 lbs and 39 inches at 6 years and 10 months old.

He has gone from a timid little boy who didn't pay attention to anything going on around him, to a little boy who is curious about
everything.

Look at what he has gained....

He has a sister to dance with him.

A sister to be kissed by and to kiss him.

A brother to swing him and to "fly" him.

A brother to hug him and tickle him.

Siblings to be silly with.

A mommy to hold his hand and to kiss.

A Daddy who adores him.

And two more sisters who, though they are grown and doing there own things, dearly love their time with him.

Anticipation is so much fun!

SOOOOOO...

BIG!!!
