48 Apostilled Documents
We jumped over a big hurdle this week. On Monday, we sent our Registration Dossier to our agency. They will process it and send it on to Sam's country to be translated and finally submitted to the Committee that makes the decision about whether or not we will be allowed to pursue his adoption. If it is approved, we will then be given a travel date. The first trip, about one week, will be to meet Sam and accept his referral. Hopefully, we will get to see him 4 or 5 times during the first trip. Then we will come home and finish up our second Dossier for court, submit it, and wait for a court date.God has been so good and merciful. We made a 6 hour road trip last weekend when we received a call that Mike's dad was in critical condition due to a pulmonary embolism and wasn't expected to survive. Well, it was proven that God was not finished with him yet, as by the time we arrived on Sunday, he had been moved to a regular room. By Monday, they had him up walking and he went home on Wednesday. It is amazing to watch this strong octogenarian come out of such a critical situation and keep on going. We are praising God for his mercies.
Thanks so much for your prayers and support. It means so much to us.
Yea Yea Yea!!!!! I am SO happy to hear you are one step closer! Congrats on getting your dossier sent off ~ what an awesome feeling that is!
